VTrack User Interface & Design

I have long time dreamed of a simpler and more efficient tool to create video art, a tool that would be similar to a music sequencing application. VTrack makes it easy to sync my MetaSynth/MetaTrack compositions since VTrack shares the measures and tempo I used in MetaTrack. To align events with beat boundaries a BPM grid is provided. To enhance the work flow, no floating palettes clutters the workspace. To avoid cumbersome modality, all editing tools are constantly available.

To achieve advanced video compositing, 8 tracks/layers with many possible transfer modes are provided. Fades are applied directly to events as preset curves. Events are inserted and moved in a similar way as in our other sequencing applications.

In addition to the powerful built-in special effects, VTrack uses ArtMatic technology to open a vast realm of possibilities. As usual with my work, I'm mostly interested in creating applications that are open in nature and leave uncharted artistic territories to explore : so I can be the first to be amazed...

The combination of all our tools gives us the power to spend years exploring and creating--and constantly surprising ourselves--in both the audio and visual domains. VTrack is the final piece that brings all together !
